Holiday Season is Here

It's that time of year already. What a year it has been, we have enjoyed the company of many students and bench renters, experienced more lockdowns, some great adventures with our outreach program, our bench hire and voucher system going digital, launching of our starter kits in our online shop, adding a new member to our staff, getting our lampworking classes off the ground and more. We have packed a lot in and ready to take a much needed break.
We are lucky to have a variety of nationalities on our staff and I have really enjoyed hearing about the different Christmas & New Year traditions they have grown up with. In some way we all have our traditions, listening to my grown up children it seems we developed some over the years without realising and I am curious to see what traditions they create with their young whanau.
What ever the season brings for you and your whanau, I wish you kindness, patience and peace. We will reopen on the 13th of January for you to relieve and holiday tension or creative flood (yeah sorry no escaping to the workshop Christmas day) so we look forward to seeing you on the blank canvas that is 2022, lets make it beautiful together.
