Torch Fired Enamels - 4 Weeks

Service Description

This is a 4 week block class focusing on beautiful glass enamels on copper and silver using the Torch Fired Glass Enamel technique. It is a wonderful way to add colour to your work! Early Bird Price $238 until 8 April. Full Price $265. Beginners to jewellery work can use pre-formed shapes to apply their enamels to so they can focus on creating an excellent result. They will be shown how to apply textures and small alterations to the pieces using either hammers or roll printed textures before prepping the metal for the glass enamel. Those with some metalwork experience can take on a more advanced piece, exploring more complex techniques such as cloisonne. High quality silver findings are supplied for one to two projects and more are available to purchase if required. Sterling silver chains are also available if you want to complete the finish of a pendant. Build your foundational jewellery making skill with this deep dive into enamel technique! Beginners and advanced students are welcome ;)

Cancellation Policy

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Masks are no longer required in our workshops, but if students would like to wear one they are most welcome. If students are unwell or required to self isolate we will do our best to find another time for them to take the class. We will not offer refunds.  Workspace will not offer make up classes for any reason other than Covid related illness. Please take note of this, these are unprecedented times and we are doing all we can to keep things flowing smoothly but sometimes flexibility is required.  Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times.  Workspace is under no obligation to change students to other classes, credit or refund for classes booked. Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case.  By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
