Service Description
Learn to create beautiful enamelled jewellery with Lisa Sinclair. Join us for a full-day enamelling workshop where you’ll explore colour, texture, and fire to create vibrant enamelled jewellery in copper or silver. This hands-on class focuses on the fundamentals of enamelling, showing you how to apply, fire, and layer enamel to achieve rich, expressive surfaces. You’ll make a simple yet beautifully textured pendant or pair of earrings, then learn how to add a pop (or flood!) of colour to bring your piece to life. Beginners to metalwork are very welcome - pre-formed shapes are available so you can focus on experimenting with colour, pattern, and mark-making. If you have some metalworking experience, you’re encouraged to take things further by creating and texturing your own metal forms before enamelling. This is a playful, creative workshop and an ideal class for anyone who loves working with colour, surface, and experimentation - whether you’re new to enamels or keen to deepen your skills. What you’ll learn: The basics of enamelling on copper and silver How to prepare metal for enamelling Applying enamel using different techniques Firing enamel and building up layers of colour Creating texture and pattern in metal Tips for achieving clean, vibrant enamel finishes The class fee covers enamel materials but NOT metals. Students can choose from a range of pre-cut copper blanks or use their own copper sheet. Findings and chains are available to purchase at a range of good prices to suit all budgets. Kids aged approximately 12+ are welcome. Any participant under 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver. For health and safety reasons, students must wear sturdy closed-toe shoes.

Cancellation Policy
Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. General Terms and Conditions for Classes with Workspace Studios Ltd. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their email address is correct, and they check their spam folders for confirmation and reminder emails. In the case of accidental incorrect bookings, we can shift students to the correct class if informed via email within 24 hours. For block classes aka regular classes, Workspace will not offer make up classes for any reason. Our tutors are very skilled at catching students up when they miss a class, and we can offer a free bench hire at the end of the block for students to finish their project*. In the case of cancellation - where you contact us via email more than 21 days before the start date of the class and let us know you need to cancel your booking, a refund of fees paid (or a credit to rebook) less the administration fee of $50 and any transaction fees (Credit card / Afterpay etc) will be made. For cancellations after the 21 day cut off date we will either: 1. Refund your class fee minus 50% and any transaction fees (Credit card / Afterpay / Paypal etc) , OR 2. Issue a credit to rebook minus 40%. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash and have a 6 month expiration after which they will not be honoured. Students are welcome to find a friend to take their place in a one off class (not a block class) if they cannot attend. Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times. We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. In case of insufficient bookings, or other events* Workspace Studios retains the right to cancel the class, and your class fees would be refunded to you in full. Our minimum number of bookings to ensure the class proceeds is 3. *Other events: extreme weather events, natural disasters, pandemic etc where studio locations are not safe to travel to for the time of the scheduled class. *Ts & Cs apply - not all projects are suitable for a bench hire.
