We are super excited about the big changes happening in Wellington!
Market Lane
Toi Pōneke is moving! Our new home from June 2026 is at 3 Market Lane on the Wellington waterfront, and it is shaping up to be an incredible creative space.
Our new studio is bigger, brighter, and filled with natural light, with the fresh energy that comes from being right by the harbour. It’s a beautiful new setting for making, learning, and connecting with other creative people.
The kaupapa of this new space is not jewellery exclusively, as we want to make space and showcase all 3D makers.
The expanded space also means we’ll have room for even more workshops, tools and materials, and creative opportunities - and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Residents
We’re looking for more makers to join us in our new studio space. Our permanent residents enjoy their own dedicated bench, 24/7 access to the workshop, and use of our shared tools and equipment.
Workspace is home to a welcoming and supportive community of jewellers and small-object makers. It’s a place to focus on your work, share ideas, and be surrounded by other creative people.

Exhibition Space
Our new exhibition space offers beautiful opportunities to showcase jewellery and small objects and right on the Wellington waterfront.
You can hire a single wall-mounted display cabinet, perfect for solo exhibitions, project launches, or end-of-term showcases. For larger presentations, the full gallery space includes six wall-mounted cabinets, floor space, and a large wall ideal for projections or installations.
Whether you're presenting finished work, experimental pieces, or a collaborative project, this flexible space is designed to help your work shine at a super affordable price.
Workshop Space for Hire
Our studio also includes a welcoming workshop space available to hire for artist talks, demonstrations, and small workshops.
Set within our vibrant jewellery studio, the space offers a creative and professional environment that’s perfect for sharing skills, hosting discussions, or bringing people together around making and ideas.
