Beginner's stone setting (cabochon) is taught in our regular 8 week blocks, but we also have some more advanced stone setting techniques in special workshops.

Claw Setting Workshop

Join us for this one day claw setting workshop! This is the best way to introduce yourself to faceted stones, or refresh your knowledge so you can set those sparklers.
It's essential that students are confident with soldering as creating these basket style settings takes some patience.

Course fees include your metal but not your stone/s, we will have some good cheap options on hand and you are welcome to bring your own round facets.
