Welcome to Workspace!
We love introducing people to the amazing craft of metal working
and supporting fledgling jewellers in their practice.
Workspace was founded in 2005 by Annie Collins and Vaune Mason,
two jewellers passionate about their craft and New Zealand's art scene.
Since then Workspace has spread to have two amazing studios, one in Wellington and our newest, in Christchurch! The sister studios are both fun and vibrant spaces with plenty going on.
As of September 2019 we are also offering occasional classes in Dunedin, Taupo and Napier!
For info on classes, tuition and bench hire please click on your city above.
Our students find untapped passion and creativity in our classes and can express it in a warm, supportive and fun environment. Our tutors are very skilled and friendly people who love passing on the knowledge.
"May I just say thank you so very, very much for the wonderful time I had at your Cuttlefish Casting class today! Vaune, you are an absolute legend.
I have to say that you and your team are all so very, very wonderful at what you do. I LOVE that when I have come in to your courses and have yourself, Tom or Gigi every effort is made to ensure that every student succeeds. You all have an amazing way of tailoring to each individuals learning type and you are there to help whenever it is needed! I shall be back for more classes and I cannot wait!"
