Service Description
This lively, hands-on workshop is designed for complete beginners, but it’s also a great opportunity for more experienced students to enjoy a creative session making their own set of stacking bangles! Everyone will leave with a beautifully finished, solid silver bangle with their own preferred texture. You can finish your copper bangle too, and leave with a set! We’ll begin by learning the basic technique on your copper, where you’ll practice creating textures using little hammers. Once you’re confident you’ll move on to your main project: a length of round solid silver wire, to be turned into a slender bangle crafted entirely by you from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll learn essential jewellery making skills including measuring, texturing, soldering, shaping, and finishing. Students are free to personalise their bangle with simple textures or leave it plain and give it a bright polish or a satin finish. This workshop is a taster class: perfect for anyone seeking a fun, creative experience with a beautiful result, or for those looking to dip their toes into jewellery making and build foundational skills. Important Note for Young Makers: Kids aged 12 and over are welcome to attend, but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver. Extra metals are available for purchase in the studio if you wish to make more.

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Masks are no longer required in our workshops, but if students would like to wear one they are most welcome. If students are unwell or required to self isolate we will do our best to find another time for them to take the class. We will not offer refunds. Workspace will not offer make up classes for any reason other than Covid related illness. Please take note of this, these are unprecedented times and we are doing all we can to keep things flowing smoothly but sometimes flexibility is required. Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times. Workspace is under no obligation to change students to other classes, credit or refund for classes booked. Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case. By enrolling in our classes or booking a service you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
