Service Description
Learn to create gorgeous leadlight designs with our experienced jewellers! Your 4-week block will give you time to learn the basics and then create one or more leadlight projects. This class is ideal for creating sun-catchers or small decorative projects for beginners, or working on slightly more complex pieces for those with some experience. Beginners will start by planning their design, then learning to cut the glass, and prepare it before foiling and soldering each piece, creating a simple elegant clear glass starter project. Beautiful coloured glass, copper foil and leadlight solder are then available to purchase as required for your other projects. This is a warm and friendly class with excellent support and learning for complete beginners and more advanced students. All tools are supplied, though you are welcome to bring your own tools and glass if you have them. Your materials for your beginner project are supplied as part of your course fee, extra materials will be available for purchase if you wish to make larger pieces or more than one project.

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Masks are no longer required in our workshops, but if students would like to wear one they are most welcome. If students are unwell or required to self isolate we will do our best to find another time for them to take the class. We will not offer refunds. Workspace will not offer make up classes for any reason other than Covid related illness. Please take note of this, these are unprecedented times and we are doing all we can to keep things flowing smoothly but sometimes flexibility is required. Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times. Workspace is under no obligation to change students to other classes, credit or refund for classes booked. Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case. By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
