Service Description
Spend two mornings creating gorgeous personalised stacking bangles and a wider textured bangle in solid silver! Each session is 3 hours long - in the first session, you will learn the foundations of jewellery making - heating, texturing and forming metal and you’ll begin making your first bangle. Experiment with texturing on round wire or bar and printing amazing textures like feathers or lace onto metal strip. Learn to stamp out words using tiny letter stamps and get to grips with soldering. The second session you will focus on making your silver bangle - that will either be another stacking bangle or you could choose to create a wider bangle or even an open cuff. Metals provided are brass or copper for your practice piece, and silver for your final bracelet. We have a few different options for the types of shape and width of metal so there are lots of ways to make your bracelets uniquely yours. Students should expect to complete at least ONE beautifully textured, solid sterling silver bracelet and often students finish up their practice copper bracelets to wear as well. If you choose simple textures you could even come away with more! This class is suitable for complete beginners, ages 16 and up. Students under 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled, participating guardian.

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Masks are no longer required in our workshops, but if students would like to wear one they are most welcome. If students are unwell or required to self isolate we will do our best to find another time for them to take the class. We will not offer refunds. Workspace will not offer make up classes for any reason other than Covid related illness. Please take note of this, these are unprecedented times and we are doing all we can to keep things flowing smoothly but sometimes flexibility is required. Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times. Workspace is under no obligation to change students to other classes, credit or refund for classes booked. Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case. By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
