Autumn Glass Bead-Making Taster

Service Description

Join us for this fabulous introduction to working with colourful molten glass! This class is a great way for absolute beginners to get a taste of working with glass to produce beautiful beads that can be used in a myriad of ways, including making a unique gift for your loved one (or yourself!). As one of the earliest forms of human adornment, beads have long functioned as a way to express individuality, and what better way to do that than to learn to make your own unique beads? Students are shown correct lampworking techniques to produce several decorative beads in just 3 hours! How many beads you make is up to you, some students make up to 10 while others make fewer using trickier techniques. Kids over 12 (or so) are welcome to take the class but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.

Cancellation Policy

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Masks are no longer required in our workshops, but if students would like to wear one they are most welcome. If students are unwell or required to self isolate we will do our best to find another time for them to take the class. We will not offer refunds.  Workspace will not offer make up classes for any reason other than Covid related illness. Please take note of this, these are unprecedented times and we are doing all we can to keep things flowing smoothly but sometimes flexibility is required.  Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times.  Workspace is under no obligation to change students to other classes, credit or refund for classes booked. Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case.  By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
