Independent Bench Hire Christchurch

Service Description

Need a space to finish a project? Or maybe start one? Our benches are available in Wellington and Christchurch on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am - 4pm. Renters must have completed an 8 week beginners class (or similar) and be confident with the tools and techniques they are using. They must also feel confident working alone as there is no tutoring with independent bench hire. The cost is $45 per session, whether you are in for half an hour or the whole day the charge is the same. ​ This includes the use of all workshop tools, soldering station, solder, sawblades and chemicals. It does not include findings or metals (you can buy these from us or bring your own), nor does it include technical help. If you haven't working in our studio before or think you will need some help please book an Assisted Bench Hire.

Cancellation Policy

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Masks are no longer required in our workshops, but if students would like to wear one they are most welcome. If students are unwell or required to self isolate we will do our best to find another time for them to take the class. We will not offer refunds.  Workspace will not offer make up classes for any reason other than Covid related illness. Please take note of this, these are unprecedented times and we are doing all we can to keep things flowing smoothly but sometimes flexibility is required.  Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times.  Workspace is under no obligation to change students to other classes, credit or refund for classes booked. Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case.  By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
